Final tests and homework

The year is almost done!

Here is the final exam schedule and final due dates.

Science: Final test on plants - Wednesday

Social Studies: Final test on Celebrations and Challenges of Alberta - Thursday (Wednesday we will have a study time in class and make a study guide in class)

Social Studies: Final project on Celebrations and Challenges - Friday (Parents can help with this... Students are to make a poster, PowerPoint, report, or drama showing some of the Celebrations and Challenges of Alberta's history and future. You may look at the textbook p. 230-end. Feel free to email if you have questions. This is not meant to be a large assignment! The report should be 2-3 pages double spaced, the PowerPoint 6-10 slides and etc.

Science: We are working on a Carnivorous Plants PowerPoint but, it should be able to be done in class time. We have one hour of computer lab time left this week to work on it.

Next week Thursday we are going swimming at the leisure centre as our year end field trip!

Next week Friday is the last day, and we will have our school wide assembly for awards. After the awards assembly, parents may take their children home early!

Skinny Bones

All Skinny Bones (SB) work is due on Friday, June 6th. Also, we will be having a final test on that day for SB.

Unit 29 is due Friday as well as a spelling test on Friday.

We are now in into the final unit for Science. Make sure your child collects some seeds at home and around to create a seeds poster which will be started on June 11th.
